 2007년, 이시카와현 노토반도에서 지진이 발생했으며, NHK의 긴급 속보 프로그램이 방송되었다. 현장 취재를 위해 전화 중계를 연결했을 때, 나에야마 씨가 이야기하는 도중 몇 초간 음성이 끊어졌다. 그 후 응답했을 때 목소리의 인상과 말투가 완전히 달라졌다. 영상이나 내용에는 문제가 없었으나, 다른 사람으로 바뀌었을 가능성도 제기되어 방송 사고로 여겨졌다.



In 2007, an earthquake occurred in the Noto Peninsula, Ishikawa Prefecture, and NHK's emergency news program was broadcast. During a phone relay for on-site coverage, Mr. Naeyama's voice was cut off for a few seconds while he was speaking. When he responded afterward, his voice and tone were completely different. Although there were no issues with the video or content, it was considered a broadcasting accident as it was suggested that someone else might have taken over.
