[WorldUrbanLegend] Bonsai Kitten

In a remote rural town in the United States, a secretive experiment was taking place inside an old, seemingly abandoned warehouse. Dr. Edwin, once a promising student at MIT, had become consumed by dark desires and embarked on an abnormal research project. He had devised a plan to bring the urban legend of the "bonsai cat" to life.

"Life is not bound by form. The new shape I create will be the pinnacle of art," he justified to himself.

Using various experimental tools and chemicals, Edwin softened the bones and muscles of the cats and began experimenting with transforming their forms by placing them in specially designed square bottles. The experiments were brutal, and many cats suffered. However, his research did not end in failure. After several months, he succeeded in creating the first "bonsai cat."

The cat maintained a perfect square shape inside the bottle, but its eyes had lost all vitality, and the sorrow and pain within them were unmistakable. Edwin proudly shared his creation online, claiming to be the creator of the urban legend. His actions sparked worldwide controversy and led the FBI to launch an investigation.

Meanwhile, an animal rights activist named Sophia, upon hearing the news, set out to stop Edwin. She traced his past, found his hideout, and headed to the warehouse. Upon arriving, she discovered countless cats suffering inside their bottles. Their eyes seemed to plead for help.

"This is not art; this is a crime."

Before calling the police, Sophia decided to rescue the cats. Using the various tools in the warehouse, she began opening the bottles one by one. However, most of the cats could not stand on their own, and it was uncertain if they would ever return to a normal life.

At that moment, Edwin entered the warehouse. "You're insulting the art I've created!" he shouted at Sophia. But she did not back down.

"This is not art; it's an act of destroying life. You are turning a blind eye to their suffering."

As the confrontation between Edwin and Sophia continued, one of the cats inside the bottle suddenly bit Edwin's hand, distracting him. Taking advantage of the distraction, Sophia subdued Edwin and bound him until the police arrived.

Edwin was arrested and faced legal judgment. The cats were transferred to an animal hospital for treatment, and some were adopted into new homes. However, some cats could never fully recover due to the wounds inflicted during their time in the bottles.

The incident shocked the world and raised awareness about animal cruelty. Sophia was recognized for her efforts in rescuing the cats, but the sorrowful eyes of the cats lingered in her heart.

"Life itself is sacred. We must never forget that."

Her words resonated deeply with people, and the animal protection movement gradually spread. However, the cats born from Edwin's bottles may still, somewhere, be silently telling their story of pain.
